The viewer will run under all versions of Windows and allows you to view our schematics directly on the internet.
Go to the MEMBERS menu and click on PREFERENCES. In the dialog box that results, click on the WWW button, and then click on PROGRAMS tab; this results in the following dialog:

Now, click on FILE TYPES in the VIEWERS group. This will bring up the next dialog:

Click on the NEW TYPE button. In the resulting dialog, enter "EPC schematic" in the DESCRIPTION OF TYPE FIELD and "epc" in the ASSOCIATED EXTENSION field; leave the other fields blank. Click on NEW:

Click on the BROWSE button to find VIEW.EXE; this will most likely be in the AOL DOWNLOAD directory. For ACTION, enter "load". Now click on the OK and CLOSE buttons until everything is closed. This will complete the operation.
(Version 3.0). Go to the VIEW menu and click on OPTIONS; select the PROGRAMS tab. Go to the VIEWERS group and click on FILE TYPES; click on NEW TYPE. Enter "EPC" in the ASSOCIATED EXTENSION box and then click on NEW. Click on the BROWSE button to locate VIEW.EXE---Now just click on the OK buttons until everything is closed.
Note: if you don't set up the VIEWER this way at first, the Explorer will automatically prompt you through these steps.
When using Netscape/Navigator, click on the OPTIONS menu and then on GENERAL PREFERENCES, as shown below:
This results in the following dialog box:

Click on CREATE NEW TYPE and create a new type with Mime Type as application and Mime SubType as octet-stream and click OK. Enter "EPC" as the File Extension, and Action as Launch the Application. Click on BROWSE to locate where you have downloaded View.exe.
After you have set up everything,
you should have an entry as highlighted in the listbox above.
Create a folder called Viewer
then Download the Viewer software to that folder. Next click on
one of our schematic diagrams. When prompted to open or download
the file select open file. You will be prompted to select a program
to open and view the file with the extension (.epc). Select browse
from the menu and open the folder called Viewer, select the view
program to open the file. Any additional files you select from
then on will open online or you can download for later viewing.
